Must See Sights of Gold Coast

There are so many things to see and do on the Gold Coast but there are a few of them that you won’t want to miss.

The Pacific Fair Shopping Centre attracts millions of tourists a year and was the largest in Queensland until 2006. This attractive shopping centre has both indoor and outdoor stores and amenities so that you can shop, relax, eat and rest when you need to.

Here you will find clothiers such as Queenspark, Adorne, Bardot and Golden Breed. Indulge in a beauty treatment or smart hairstyle at Brazilian Xpress, shop for books, accessories, casual beach fashions or house wares at any of nearly 200 stores both local and international.

Kurrawa Beach in Broadbeach is a very well-known surfing spot but even if you don’t surf you’ll still want to go. There you will find a safe, large swimming area where there are life saving competitions to enjoy and fabulous surf to swim in.

Children will love the grassy playground and the duck pond. Of course, there are amenities should you want something to eat or drink.

For a night on the town, consider Conrad Jupiter’s Casino, 7 acres of luxury bars, quality restaurants, a theatre, a ballroom and gambling. This is an exciting place if you want a fun night on the town to combine dining, gambling, drinking, dancing and entertainment.

Surfers Paradise Beach is a must if you want to enjoy a day in the sun, sand and surf. It’s a great place for beginning surfers, too. There’s plenty of shade if you need it due to the high rises along the beach and every amenity you might need is nearby.

O’Reilly’s Vineyard offers an experience you’ll always remember! They will pick you up at your hotel and give you breakfast before taking you on a hot air balloon ride 3,000 feet above the ground.

The spectacular views are breathtaking! At the end you’ll be treated to a wine tasting before you’re delivered back to your hotel.

There are a number of wildlife parks where you can see anything from rare birds to crocodiles. Koalas, emu, kangaroos, bilbies and many more natural species are there for you to marvel out and enjoy.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is something you won’t want to miss, and can include a delicious buffet and Aboriginal dance and music. Check out Fleays Wildlife Park, Royal Pines Resort and Pioneer Plantation for some truly wonderful experiences.

There are also many art galleries, boat cruises, theme parks and other things—too many to see in just one visit!
