On Friday the 12th of December 2014, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) are hosting their annual ‘Centre of Christmas’ event.

Slip into the Christmas spirit with a seafood buffet and Christmas themed menu accompanied with premium sparkling, red and white wine, beer and soft drink.

The Accidents will provide entertainment for the evening, and there are lucky door prizes to be won.

$130 per person, or $1250 for a table of 10.

New Year’s Carnival

In Surfers Paradise we don’t just celebrate New Year’s Eve for one night … we celebrate for almost one week!

This year the Surfers Paradise New Year’s Carnival will provide a family friendly celebration in the lead up to the big night.

Head down to the Surfers Paradise Foreshore from December 27th for carnival rides, kids slides and more great entertainment.

Then on New Year’s Eve dress up as your favourite character and come along for the ‘Superheroes of Paradise’ where you can have a photo with superheroes!

Of course it wouldn’t be NYE without fireworks, and Surfers Paradise delivers one of Queensland’s biggest fireworks displays, on Surfers Paradise beach!

SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge

Registrations are now open for the Q1 Stair Challenge! On February 22, 2015 participants in the Sea to Sky race will climb 77 floors of stairs in this race to the top!

Once at the top you can get catch your breath while taking in the magnificent 360 degree views of our beautiful Gold Coast.

The event is raising funds in support of Rosies – Friends of the Street. Helping men and woman from our community – there are almost 2000 homeless people on the Gold Coast alone.

Participants in SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge are required to raise or pledge a minimum of $35 for Rosie’s as part of this event.

AquaSplash Gold Coast

AquaSplash is back on the Gold Coast! The water themed park which launched last season, closed it’s doors over the winter months – but great news … it’s open for the summer!

AquaSplash Gold coast is open 7 days per week and provides a fun water based experience for all the family!

A special ‘minisplash’ zone is available for children as young as 1! Those aged 1-4 must be accompanied by an adult on this attraction, and kids 5-9 years can go solo.

Ticket prices to MiniSplash include induction training, life jacket and 45 minutes on MiniSplash.
