The hardest part of managing The Shore is letting people know what great value we are.

Because the prices are so cheap, and we’re right on The Esplanade, people seem to assume the apartments must be poor quality.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

The apartments are great:

• clean
• tidy
• spacious
• modern
• well maintained

After all, if you have a shonky resort, word soon spreads and you can’t get such high rankings like we do on sites like Trip Advisor!

October 22nd to 24th is the date for the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars race ………………..and we’re in the precinct.

Anna Bligh has stated that the Qld Government is absolutely committed to making the V8 race on the Gold Coast one of the biggest and best anywhere in the world.

Party Time!

One of the deciding factors was the impressive 168,000 fans attending the inaugural race in Townsville last year and an even greater crowd this year.

So it should be MASSIVE on the Gold Coast!

Rock & Race with Big Name Acts

They are planning to make the event a huge package of “Rock and Race” with bands and other activities at Broadwater Parklands over the weekend.

The Beach Boys will be playing on the Saturday night along with:

• Richard Clapton,
• James Reyne &
• Mondo Rock to name a few.

Some of the others will be Ian Carey, Kid Kenobi, Potbelleez, The Funkoars etc.

There was even talk of “Pink” making an appearance.

The ticket prices range from $49.00 Friday, $81.00 Sat & Sun or from $136.00 for the 3 days.

They hope to have the best racing drivers from 12 countries to team with Australians in two 300K endurance races along with Legend Races in Classic touring cars.
