As you might know, we get a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor.  We’re very proud to be ranked 5th in accommodation on the Gold Coast!

Not bad for a budget resort!

Anyway, I’ve just been responding to the reviews and came across a line I just have to share – it’s beautiful!

“Maybe the only disadvantage is my review, I cannot find that exact and beautiful words to describe the unit I lived in and how I felt.”

We’ve had a few calls re the terrible flooding here in Queensland.

Thank goodness the Gold Coast hasn’t been affected, so all systems go here at The Shore

Our thoughts are with those to the North and West struggling through this awful situation.

We’ve had some amazing reviews on Trip Advisor, with The Shore ranked 5th out of 87 Surfers Paradise resorts in terms of popularity – we’re thrilled with that (we seem to move between 3rd and 6th place).

A Poor Review On Dec 18, 2010 (

We got a poor review on Dec 18 on Trip Advisor – I’ve asked that person for more info as everything he says seems at odds with what everyone else says, so will keep you posted.

It was nice to see this comment on the site:

“Hi to all the lovely people at The Shore.

I am so pleased I took no notice of the ‘nasty’ comment I read here not long before our holiday. My husband and I found the staff wonderful and so very helpful and we loved our apartment it was clean and adequately furnished. I must mention the shower, now that was something I enjoyed, lovely hot water and good pressure.

The weather was superb, really turned on for us so really we had nothing to complain about. All in all a really great experience on our much anticipated multi city Australian holiday. Thanks guys

Howdy

Superb weather here on the Gold Coast for the lead up in 6 weeks or so for the V8 Super Car series.

We’ve just added another 30 photos of the resort to our photos page – that makes it over 100 photos and 6 videos we have so you can see the resort.

These latest photos feature our friend Vanessa who was kind enough to brighten up the photos (!) – they look so much better with a person in them, I’m sure you’ll agree.

It’s a public holiday here on the Gold Coast but we’re still working away!

Working very hard…….well, as hard as you can work when you have the distraction of the wonderful Vanessa who’s helping us out with some shots.
