The G:Link Gold Coast Light Rail offers 16 stations along it’s 13km corridor. With the Surfers Paradise North station just a few hundreds metres walk to The Shore Holiday Apartments it’s now easier that ever to explore the Gold Coast! Want to know where you could go? Over the next few news blogs we will feature some of the stations, and what you can do at those locations.

Broadbeach North

Hop off at the Broadbeach North station for easy access to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. (GCCEC). Here are some of the events that are happening at the GCCEC over coming months …

Gold Coast Light Rail announces start date!

Exciting news on the Gold Coast today with the announcement of the date that G:link Gold Coast Light Rail will commence carrying passengers.

Sunday July 20th 2014 is the big day that passenger services will commence. After a free day of travel on Sunday, paid passenger tram services and a new bus timetable will commence on Monday July 21st.

Trams are scheduled to run every seven and a half minutes to Southport, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. From Monday July 21st light rail users will be able to use an all-day travel go explore card.

The route spans 13kms with 16 stops. When you stay at The Shore Holiday Apartments you’ll be just 100m from the light rail! Convenient and handy for exploring the Gold Coast!
