There are 16 stations along the G:Link tram route, and one of those stops is Queen Street in Southport. This stop will be very handy to you if you are looking for a unique Gold Coast tour and enjoy a good ghost story!

Southport General Cemetery Ghost Tours take place every Saturday at 8pm and on selected Fridays and Halloween! Meet at the (creaking) Cemetery Gates on Twohill Lane for a guided tour through the cemetery.
You’ll discover why Joab was struck down by lightening, about the mysterious ‘Mr Brown’ who was found dead at the cemetery gates and about Australia’s very own mermaid. Creeping along unmarked graves, bodysnatchers and muderers … you’ll hear tales of some of the five thousand stories waiting to be told … oh, and it’s believed the coast’s oldest ghost is still lurking around the cemetery!

Adult admission $34, children $24, family of 2 adults and 2 children $89.

You can also discover the hidden tales and dark secrets of Surfers Paradise on the Surfers Paradise Ghost Tour, which departs from Cavill Ave. Catch the tram one stop, or walk in from your Surfers Paradise accommodation at The Shore Holiday Apartments.
